Nick Veasey
Exposición itinerante «Forensic Beauty»
Nick Veasey’s new exhibition ‘Forensic Beauty’ brings together a combination of recent works and several classics from his astonishing work as an artist that uses radiation and x-ray machines to create beguiling images.
Celebrating a career that now spans 30 years creating x-ray art from concrete bunkers this selection of works have the unifying theme of superficiality being unimportant and the real value to us all being what lies within. With several major museum retrospectives under his belt and a worldwide demand for the x-ray art we are pleased that Veasey’s wit and irony remains constant in the new works which are somehow both strangely familiar and unsettling at the same time. This is art that you can understand immediately, yet when it is studied the subtle details and complex beauty of these huge x-ray ‘scenes’ are incomparable.
A true master of blending art and science, you need to check this exhibition out.
