“My creative journey is guided by a deep appreciation for order, precision, and the beauty of minimalism.

Each of my pieces is meticulously crafted from thousands of painted wooden dowels, inserted into digitally designed boards with machine-drilled precision. This fusion of digital technology and handcrafted artistry ensures both structural complexity and expressive depth.

Each dowel acts as a droplet of paint, where every decision in placement and color contributes to the overall effect. Together, these individual elements coalesce into a harmonious composition, creating a vibrant and tactile experience that evolves with the viewer’s perspective. By extending the boundaries of the art to encompass the dimensions of the room itself, I invite viewers to engage with my art dynamically and personally, revealing new facets of color, shape, and emotion from every angle in a shared visual narrative.” – Matt Bilfield
