Each subject of City is created through the use of paper in a technique called “3D paper compositions”. This is a style in which the three-dimensionality of the figure, the nature of the material, the movement that can be generated with the piece and its play with light are what give life to the work.

The City Subjects pieces are created by analyzing human bodies topographically, just as a topographer would analyze mountains, valleys. Each work is an architectural model, a human topography. Each piece is made up of 500 to 3,000 layers of paper.

These works are based on a personal exercise of observing individuals in their daily lives. A particular portrait of different moments and different attitudes within the public spaces of the city.
